Massages

Deep tissue

Deep-tissue massage is a specific type of massage therapy that concentrates on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body; and recommended by many doctors as a treatment option. By using deep finger pressure and slow, firm strokes, deep tissue massage is used to treat a variety of physical ailments.

Thai massage

Thai massage, also simply called Thai massage, is a 2,500-year-old Ayurvedic-based body science developed and popularized by Buddha's doctor, Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha. A trained Thai massage therapist stretches a person with specific, assisted yoga poses. The philosophy behind Thai massage techniques focuses on energy points called "sen." As the Thai massage therapist stretches the participant, also presses and massages along the sen lines or points.

Ayurvedic massage

Ayurvedic massage uses essential oils that are chosen to suit your dosha. The massage techniques used include tapping, kneading and squeezing as well as the more traditional massage strokes you would expect. The style and flow of the massage is determined by who you are, and what your body needs for balance and wellbeing at the time.
